The Life and Service Of

Morgan Davis, LHD

Empowered by the Holy Spirit as promised in Acts 1:8, Morgan is committed to ensuring the Name of Jesus and God's Word reaches those who've never heard His truth in their heart language—from Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

This same Spirit guides her work discipling women through conference speaking and writing, helping them discover their witness and unique place in His global movement that transcends all boundaries.

Equipping Servant to the Global Church

Morgan's passion for making Jesus known burns brightest at the intersection of Gospel proclamation and Bible translation, especially among the Muslim world.

If you were sitting across from each other sharing coffee, Morgan would want you to know that her heart beats for Jesus and His mission. Every part of who she is flows from living Coram Deo—before the face of God, for His glory alone.

Morgan’s calling crystallized during her first trip to India in 2016. Witnessing young people from Muslim and Hindu backgrounds embrace Jesus for the first time, she was struck by their spiritual hunger—a raw, genuine seeking for something eternal in a world full of temporary answers. Those transformative encounters revealed the beautiful urgency of sharing Christ with those who had never heard His name.

Her missiological approach combines scholarship and hands-on ministry. She has presented research at the National Evangelical Missiological Society (2022) and Missio Nexus National Missions Leaders Conference (2024), focusing on elevating African American and ethnic minority voices and presence (particularly from the West) in global missions.

Morgan has contributed to the Gospel Mobilization podcast, From Every Nation’s Mission Journal, and Radical.net. Her education includes coursework at New Orleans Theological Baptist Seminary and Lancaster Bible College. Washington International Theological Seminary in Kenya honored her contributions to missiology with a Doctor of Humane Letters.

As Director of Missions at her church for five years, Morgan has cultivated a mission-focused culture while teaching about God’s mission, equipping members for cross-cultural service, and mobilizing them with ministry partners.

She serves on the Baptist Convention of Maryland and Delaware’s Women’s Leadership Team and Sex Abuse Reform Task Force, and speaks nationwide about biblical womanhood and women in missions.

Morgan is a member of the Evangelical Missiological Society, the National African American Missions Council, and Multi-Faith Neighbors Network, where she engages with Christian, Muslim, and Jewish leaders on religious freedom initiatives.

Cross-Cultural Contexts To Date:

HYDERABAD, MIRYALAGUDA, WARANGAL, NEREDUCHARIA, VIJAYAWADA, GUNTUR, SURYAPET, KUMASI, ACCRA, MEXICO, CHIANG MAI, PHAN THONG, SAINT MARY PARISH, JUBA, INDONESIA, LOUTRAKI, CÔTE D’IVOIRE, PAPUA, AND COTONOU

Morgan’s greatest earthly treasure is being Chris’s wife and mom to their three wonderful children. Morgan has also served as a United States Marine. Though a California native, the East Coast has become home for her family. When she is not engaged in ministry, she enjoys lifting weights, running, exploring coastal towns and thrifting with Chris, listening to 40s Jazz, or savoring a bowl of butter pecan ice cream.

Every part of who she is—disciple, missionary, wife, mother, speaker, researcher—is unified by her love for Jesus Christ and the privilege of participating in His Great Commission. Like God’s heart in 2 Peter 3:9, she shares His desire that “none should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
